It's opening day at Kanakuk's K-Seven and we can't begin to contain all of our excitement. We are fully charged and ready to go go go!
We have been working hard to vamp up K-Seven for the safest and best summer yet! This has come in the form of building staff community, some camp maintenance, and extensive training in fun activities such as tubing, ropes course, blobbing, and almost any other fulfillment of a kiddo's summer dreams. Most importantly, we have spent time recharging and digging deep into our relationship with Christ. It's encouraging to know that all of our prayerful preparation and hard work is about to pay off when the kampers get here (SO soon)!!
As we await our kampers, here are some helpful tips and reminders about opening day:
- Check in time is at 2:00 PM
- Be sure to fill out your kamper's luggage tag labels you received in the mail or download one (we will assign your Kamper's teepee numbers when they arrive)
- Please place all medications in a plastic bag along with instructions on an index card. All medications must be in the original container and will be given to the health staff upon arrival.
- We welcome parents who want to help their kamper's move into the teepees. We request that the time be minimal so that the kounselors and other kampers can begin getting acquainted.
