We have felt like Dorothy, when she realized she was no longer in Kansas, this week at k-Seven! This sure isn't Lampe, Missouri weather, you would almost think that we have been relocated to Colorado, that's how nice the temperature has been. Sure there has been a bit of rain, but here we call that good ole "liquid sunshine," because as long as there is no lightening we want to give the Kampers the opportunity to get the most out of every single minute if their 7 days here.
The Duck Dynasty Crew made their way here and decided "Lamp" (as they would say) Missouri, was just too beautiful not to stick around at least a few days.
Smalls, Squints, Ya-Ya and the rest of the group from The Sandlot showed up to show the kids the proper way to make a s'more..."Ok, pay attention. First you take the graham, you stick the chocolate on the graham. Then you roast the 'mallow. When the 'mallows flaming... you stick it on the chocolate. Then cover with the other end. Then you scarf. Kind of messy, but good! Try some!" Thanks to The Sandlot boys' detailed instructions, the Kampers were able to enjoy endless amounts of s'mores while bonding with their teepeemates.
The next day Gru and his minions took over the Aluminocity Atrocity party in hopes that the Kampers would help them get their power back on. The neon colors under the black light and the endless amount of dancing helped to make this a night the children would never forget. This week a surprise guest decided to grace us with their presence...but you will have to tune in to see their identity revealed!
