It’s Sunday morning, and that means that the entire kamp gets coffee cake.
Are you still wondering what POD day is?! Well here is your answer! POD day is one of Kamper's favorite day's at K-2! It happens every Wednesday, and it is a break from normal scheduling where Kampers have the opportunity to experience new adventures for extended period of time. Our Kampers choose one A.M. and one P.M. POD to participate in. Kampers also have the option to go on an all day POD at Kids Across America or Sam's Throne!
During POD day, Kampers have the opportunity to go and hike at Sam's Throne or in Dogwood Canyon. They can also choose to go cave exploring in a near by cavern.
Back at K-2 Kampers have extended time on the dock to ride waverunners and boats along with blobbing and sailing. Or if they enjoy canoeing they can canoe to a near by bluff for cliff jumping!
We also have indoor options to avoid the heat! These include memorizing scripture in "Meat for Muffins" and practicing their dance moves in "Dating and Dancing." Whatever POD kampers decide to participate in it promises to be action packed and full of fun memories! We are big fans of POD day here at K-2!
